To me this stone looks like branches of a plant wrapping its self around the stone like a warm nurturing embrace!
The wide curved band has an open back for slight adjustment accomodations for larger knuckles, arthritis, water gain, etc... as well as added comfort.
Ring also has a curved bezel which allows the stone to sit flush to the band!
