LOCATION

We will be staying in a stunning Riad in the heart of Marrakesh for an authentic Moroccan experience. The Riad is home to a rooftop terrace, yoga studio, and hammam spa.

It is nestled in the historical medina area of Marrakech, and provides the perfect oasis of peace and tranquility.

Our yoga retreat riad is located snugly in the older part of Marrakesh, inside the Medina walls and very accessible by taxi, just 20 minutes away from Marrakesh International Airport. It is close to various authentic local souks and the world known main square with its traditional food stalls that open at night between other amazing attractions.

To reserve your space a non refundable $800 deposit is required.

To secure your retreat space, a $800 CAD non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. All final payments are due by date agreed upon. Either etransfer to lauralotuslove@gmail.com or pay here

I encourage you to purchase travel insurance.

TRAVEL LOGISTICS

AIRFARE & ARRIVAL 

I recommended flying direct to London airport and having your second flight thru an international flight service direct to Marrakesh. (This will lower costs and travel time!)

I recommend flying into Marrakesh Airport. The airport is a 20 minute drive to the venue. 

PASSPORT 
For international travelers passports must have 6 months of validity at the time of entry. 

REFUND + CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation & Refunds

In the event that a participant has to cancel, 25% of payment (minus $800 deposit) is refundable up to Jan 1, 2027

 

No refunds granted after Jan 2, 2027

~ There is no exception to cancellation policy including weather, personal emergencies, flight cancellations, or delays. I strongly recommend purchasing Travel Protection Insurance for flight and retreat costs as soon as you book. Travel insurance, airline fees and service charges related to cancellation of flights are the responsibility of the individual traveler. (Can help you book or hook you up with a great travel agent for best deal!)

~If for some reason we cannot travel into Morocco (due to government travel ban) or location must postpone, retreat fees are not refunded to participants, but your spot/payments would move to the new date. Possibly the following year. No refund exceptions. 

~ If you leave during the retreat, there will be no refund. 

~~**If you cancel out there is no automatic space held for you if you decide to change your mind and come. This means you forfeit your space and there may not be availability. A new deposit payment (18.2% of retreat total) is required as a reinstating fee to cover expenses, losses and costs accrued.

What Food is Served on Retreat?
Daily food is served on retreat. If you have any dietary restrictions please let me know prior to retreat. 

Can you accommodate for Gluten-Free / Dairy Free Diets?
Yes dietary restrictions can be accommodated for! However, please let me know any dietary restrictions you have upon booking. 

I’m new to Yoga/meditation. Will I be welcome?
Yes! All levels are welcome

How many guests will be on retreat?
Max of 12 guests.

What are additional excursions I can enjoy while on Retreat?
Some ways you can enrich your trip include booking a massage or another service at the Riad's Hammam spa or enjoying a Moroccan cooking class. I will provide details ahead of time.
